THRESHOLD by LYNN BASA

MOSAIKA IS EXCITED TO BE WORKING WITH CHICAGO ARTIST LYNN BASA AGAIN ON A DRAMATIC MURAL THAT IS BEING INSTALLED IN THE SCHOOL OF HUMAN ECOLOGY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN IN MADISON. GIANT ORBS OF BACK LIT ONYX HAVE BEEN INCORPORATED INTO A MOSAIC OF BYZANTINE GLASS, GOLD SMALTI AND HAND GLAZED CERAMIC TILES. THE DRAMATIC CHANGES OF SCALE REFLECT THE NOTION THAT ALL THINGS ARE CONNECTED, WHETHER LARGE OR SMALL, CREATING COMPLEX AND MYSTERIOUS RELATIONSHIPS
